The demand for emission cost-free energy is becoming even more noticeable with each passing year. That’s why the guvs of 8 states announced an ambitious partnership to speed up the adoption of plug-in electric cars. Their objective is to have 3.3 million electric automobiles on the road by 2025.

Together, the eight states will establish fueling infrastructure and EV-ready building regulations, purchase electric vehicles for state fleets, and expand rewards and public education programs to considerably enhance number of plug-in electric and fuel cell vehicles.

The 8 states are: California, Connecticut, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, Oregon, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
