Auf der diesjährigen Shanghai Motor Show Lexus enthüllt seine neueste Hybrid-Modell in seiner Palette GS, die neue 2013 Lexus Hybrid GS300h.

The new model will be competing at the heart of the premium executive market, with a focus on fleet and business customers. Its rear-wheel drive powertrain features a 2.5-litre, four-cylinder petrol engine with D-4S direct injection technology, and a compact, powerful electric motor.

Lexus’s target of CO2 emissions below 110g/km will make the Lexus GS300h one of the most efficient models in its class.

The Lexus GS300h will join Lexus’s UK model range later in 2013; it will also be sold in global markets including China, Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand. It joins the GS 450h and GS 250 in the UK, and the GS 350 und 350 AWD (all-wheel drive) models, which are available elsewhere.
